Società Acquedotti Tirreni S.p.A. has been involved in the energy sector since the early 1900s, when the Hydroelectric Plant in Bagnone (Massa Carrara) was designed and built. In more recent years, SAT has specialised in the renewable energy sector: we take care of the design, construction and maintenance of solar, hydroelectric and wind power plants. We also provide support to our customers in the submission of applications to access the Energy Account and requests for subsidised loans.

Wind power

We carry out site studies with measurements aimed at identifying and verifying the presence of the characteristics required for the installation of the systems. We prepare preliminary, final and executive projects for the installation of wind towers. We manage all administrative aspects related to the installation and build aerogeneration systems by performing the construction management and the required tests. We also construct electrical substations and connections.

Photovoltaic

We carry out analysis and feasibility studies relating to the investment. We design and build roofs with photovoltaic modules, installing systems “up to the connection point" using a “turnkey" formula, providing assistance and monitoring during all stages of production.

Solar Thermal

We install modules, solar collectors, boilers, pumping systems, control units, expansion vessels, circulation groups and related safety equipment.
